The two-piece was designed by Louis Reard and Jacques Heim, in Paris in 1946. Nonetheless, because of its meagerness, scarcely anybody dared to wear a swimsuit until the last part of the 1950s, when entertainer Brigitte Bardot made a sprinkle by wearing a two-piece in the film, And God Made Lady. The swimsuit unrest in this way turned into a fury and even got its own tune: Very small Tiny Yellow Spotted Two-piece.
